BIBLE STUDY RESOURCES
The idea of leading a bible study may sound daunting - but we want to assure you that it isn’t! You don’t need to be a theologian or a bible scholar as the aim isn’t to give people lots of knowledge. Studying the bible in community is about us trying to hear what God is saying to us through his word and helping each other to put that into practice.
DISCOVERY BIBLE STUDY
As you gather to look at the bible together in community and process what you have heard preached on a Sunday, we want to encourage you to use the Discovery Bible Study method (DBS). The DBS is great tool to help everyone in the group engage with scripture, contribute to discussion and most importantly to hear what God is saying to them and help them put what they have heard into practice.
The DBS is also a great tool to use to begin reading the bible with non-christians or those who are very new to faith. Below are some resources to help you do this.
