What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Each session starts watching a short film and then a time of discussion where you can share your thoughts with a small group. If at any point you decide Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

Alpha starts on Tuesday 20th January in St Barnabas Church, and will run for 9 weeks (we won’t be meeting on the 17th February). Each session starts at 7.30pm with a meal before we watch a short video and then break into smaller groups for discussion. We'd love you to join the whole course but you're welcome to start after the 20th Jan.
