ALPHA is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed atmosphere. The eight week course is designed to explore the basics of the Christian faith. We look at a variety of issues such as who Jesus was; whether there is any real historical evidence for his existence; the signifiance of his death and resurrection and a number of other key issues. Each week, after meal together, there is a brief talk on that week's topic followed by a chance to discuss, in small groups, any questions people have — we aim to create an atmosphere where no question is off bounds and where nothing is too trivial to look at.

You are welcome to attend whether you are exploring faith or thinking about whether to return to church. You are under no obligation to complete the whole course and will be put under no pressure while you are with us. We look forward to meeting you soon.
